From 2 to 5 June 2026, ROLE experts served as judges during the Final Oral Rounds of the Helga Pedersen Moot Court Competition held in Strasbourg.

The competition brought together 18 teams that had achieved the highest results in the written submissions and regional rounds. During the Final Oral Rounds, participants presented arguments on a complex case raising a number of human rights issues before panels of legal experts, demonstrating their advocacy skills and knowledge of the European human rights system.

ROLE is pleased to support initiatives that promote legal education, practical advocacy skills, and a deeper understanding of human rights and rule of law among future legal professionals.
